Change to Tact Mods in the Base
As part of our plans for PvP in 2018, we wanted to re-evaluate the current state of PvP, specifically with base hitting. With Base Tactical Modules having the ability to be aggressively stacked in 2017, we found that the intended balance of hulls would be invalidated faster than anticipated, reducing the overall lifetime value of Conqueror hulls. Additionally, it forced us to dramatically increase the defense power of newly released Conqueror hulls, which was never intended or planned.
In order to help correct this for 2018 and stabilize the rapid power increase, beginning today, we are implementing limits to how many times auras granted by Base Tactical Mods can stack. Below are the tactical modules affected and the new “Duplicate Aura Cap” value for each:
